Learning from Each Other about Teaching Global Gender Issues through a U.S.-Pakistan University Partnership on Women’s Empowerment

Through the generous funding of the State Department, The George Washington University and Lahore College for Women University (in Lahore, Pakistan) have been engaged in a three year academic partnership, starting in 2013. The two groups work together to share knowledge and understanding about women’s status and empowerment in both Pakistan and the U.S. 
 
The event featured discussion about teaching global gender issues from four participants of the partnership:
