Global Gender Policy is a specific area of study available under four of the Elliott School’s masters programs:

Masters of International Affairs (MAIA)
Masters of International Development Studies (IDS)
Masters of Global Communications (SMPA)
Masters of International Policy and Practice (MIPP)

Graduate Certificate in Global Gender Policy

The Global Gender Policy Certificate provides a specialty program that requires a minimum of 15 credit hours.

Students must complete the one core course in Global Gender Policy (IAFF 6102).

Students then choose three classes from the list of elective classes provided under Courses.

Approval for additional classes related to the field of gender studies available across GW may be sought from the Director of the Gender Equality Initiative in International Affairs.
