Graduate Certificate in Global Gender Policy

The graduate certificate in Global Gender Policy allows students to gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to become world class leaders on gender equality issues in a multiplicity of roles. The program is designed for students interested in roles such as gender expert policymakers, advocates, practitioners, researchers, and change makers. It is a specialty program that requires a minimum of 15 credit hours.

Students must complete the one core course in Global Gender Policy (IAFF 6102).

Students then choose three classes from the list of elective classes provided under Courses.

Approval for additional classes related to the field of gender studies available across GW may be sought from the Director of the Gender Equality Initiative in International Affairs.
